TeknoScan’s management combines the highest level of technological experience, along with management depth able to move the company forward, as it assumes a global role. As TeknoScan’s CTO, Dr. Sabatino Nacson, has demonstrated the leadership and experience in worldwide chemical trace detection required of a first-rank company. Dr. Nacson has developed and introduced scanning and security products, having achieved $1 billion in international sales (all figures US).
Dr. Sabatino Nacson, B.Sc., M.Eng., Ph.D.
Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Nacson is a world leader in new product development for the trace detection industry. He has more than 25 years’ experience in analytical chemistry and instrument development, including explosives, drugs, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, chemical warfare and biological agents. His products have covered a wide range of applications from security, defense and life sciences to environmental and industrial processes. Law enforcement agencies such as the FBI, ATF and RCMP have routinely sought his expertise, along with several other governments.
Sam Hyams, MBA
President & Chief Executive Officer
Sam Hyams has been a leader in strategy, planning and corporate development for 20 years, establishing new ventures by securing financing and managing business plan implementation while holding finance and accounting positions. As a consultant to small and medium-sized businesses, he has advised in developing strategic plans for organic growth and acquisitions. He also helped found several companies including, most recently, RuggedCom Inc. (TSX: RCM).
Philip Kung
Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Philip Kung’s 20+ years experience includes accounting and audit experience with a national accounting firm and senior positions held in the financial services industry. He has Mechanical Engineering and Commerce degrees from the University of Toronto.
Linda W. Jabbaz
Chief Operating Officer
Linda W. Jabbaz has a stellar track record in managing projects and logistics especially in the building and construction sector. Her expertise includes the detailed review of project plans, procurement of supplies and material, supervision of quality control, interface with service providers, cost control management (including maintaining systems) and updating monthly and quarterly reports. She has also raised substantial funds for a startup company successfully. Linda holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from San Francisco State University.
